Recognizance docket, 1783-1798.

Records of obligations entered before the court with condition to do some particular act, usually to appear in court, pay a debt, keep the peace, or some similar action. Entries consist of bound individual's name and security, county, bond or recognizance, name of individual to appear, trial number, case number, defendant, plaintiff, and description of the recognizance. Arranged chronologically by court term and case number.
